WARNING: Don't lend this book to
anyone - you'll never get the bastard back!
Since launching her first best seller
"I've Met Some Bloddy Wags!" by biting the top off a stubbie
of beer with her teeth on the Midday Show, Sandy has spent
over 20 years travelling Australia, New Zealand and the US
promoting bush humour at corporate and public events,
festivals and functions. Australia's first female
professional bush poet and yarn spinner, Sandy's humour has
landed her on Letterman, Larry King, Today Shows etc in the
US and on Michael Parkinson's show in London.
Her books are all based on characters
she met and worked with on the vast isolated stations of far
North Queensland, out back of Bourke and near Ligfhtning
Ridge. She has been a jilleroo (still is) , horsebreaker,
bull ctacher, deckie, builders labourer, and a detention
center officer, amongst other things. Sandy lives on luaghs
and is a proud promoter of fair dinkum Australia bush
culture.
